Discussion of submission to the Eddington Committee
Richard discussed the process underway to produce the submission to the Eddington Committee.
The meeting expressed its view that the Chair should exercise discretion in drafting the submission.
Tony reported on processes to maximise the number of submissions, including a stall on Saturday.
David reported on the meeting with Bronwyn Pike and Tim Pallas.
Working group to meet to draw up a strategy workshop for the balance of the calendar year.

Elm Tree Beetle
Council is going to look at the trees.

Green Waste Bins
To be followed up with Council

1-39 Hobsons Road
Going to Planning Committee of City of Melbourne 8/7/08.
Proposed that the Planning Committee will reject the proposal.  Richard has emailed all Councillors endorsing the recommendations.

Annual General meeting
Notice to members to go out.  Members interested in taking up an officers position should fell free to contact an executive member.

Police Consultative Committee
Business Security Kits have been produced by the PCCC.
Reported increase in assaults and incidents particularly around South Kensington station.

CBD parking
Have been invited to a forum on 9/7/08 to develop a strategic parking plan for the CBD and Docklands.
