Kensington Estate overdevelopment Therese Fitzgerald reported that the Working Party had arranged for a Public Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 13 October to discuss a community response to a proposal by the developer, Becton, to erect 218 units over 6 storeys on a site for which the agreement is for 56 units over 2 storeys. The meeting will be at the Community Recreation Centre, Altona Street at 7:30 pm. Members emphasized the need for publicizing this meeting and volunteered for further letter boxing and door knocking. It was agreed to invite representatives from other groups to attend the meeting. 2. Invitation to participate in local climate action group for Kensington, Flemington, North Melbourne After discussion it was decided that it was too late to send a representative for this meeting but we would ask to be kept informed of future meetings. 3.
