1. Skinny Park Development
MCC has consulted KA re the final improvements for Skinny Park. Plan is to increase seating, add a BBQ, plants along the railway fence line, new table, fill in the panel fence already erected and plans to increase the play equipment roof line to give more shade. MCC to complete the improvements shortly.

2. Kensington Precinct Plan
Feedback from the Kensington Precinct plan has highlighted major issues of concern for the local community. Key points were.
* Kensington under one Council to be resolved.
* A coordinated traffic and transport plan incorporating parking, rat running, train station use and maintenance and pedestrian and bicycle facilities
* Address inappropriate future construction developments in the area
* Maintenance of the community culture and diversity
* Strong council communication while being served by 2 councils
* Maintenance and encouragement of open space policy
* Local employment initiatives
* Child care audit and options.
The plan now is to review these issues and develop plans to address concerns. Councils are asking local residence to have input to ongoing plans and actions. Please contact KA if you are interested.

3. Holland Park
MCC is continuing the development of the Holland Park with Playground improvements, tree planting and toilet facilities.

4. Kensington Community Liaison
This committee is seeking a KA member to represent the local area. If you are interested please contact KA

5. Kensington Estate Community Meeting
Mon 19/7 from 13:00 to 17:00 Venue to be announced

7. VRC
All proposed developments for the Flemington Racecourse have been given the go ahead by government and developments have begun

8. Walking School Bus
Errol Street School is having a walking school bus day on the 16/ 7 to promote exercise and to reduce car use in the local area. The plan is to have this as a regular activity. Local schools are also considering this idea.

9. Dog POO!!!!
Local residents have noticed an recent increase in dog products gracing our streets. KA is asking everyone to be Alert but not Alarmed. If it is yours please bag and tag, if not step cautiously.
